We are so excited to kick off the 2024-2025 school year and see everyone at Willow Welcome on Friday. We have many exciting events planned for the year ahead. But, first our Willow Springs tradition, movie night on Friday, August 23!

• 6:30PM: Field Opens
• 6:45PM: Pizza & Concessions Available for Purchase
• 7:30PM: Movie Begins

Kick off the school year with a bit of a “glow” as we show Elemental!

Bring your flashlight, bug spray, and seating of choice and join us for a night of fun as we celebrate the first week of school.

Join us as we celebrate our foxes return to Willow Springs and the kick off of the 2023-2024 school year with our famous Welcome Back Movie Night! Enter your most creative gingerbread creations in the second annual PTA Gingerbread House contest! Construct your house in any medium — food, Lego®, a drawing — the possibilities are endless! The PTA will accept submissions November 30 to December 13 using this link.

Parents or guardians may submit their child’s entry using the form, or via the email addressed listed on the form page if for some reason it is not going through. Voting will take place December 14-18. The contest is open to K-6 students AND teachers, with prizes for the winners.

The PTA is sponsoring a first ever Glow Party on 10/22 from 6-9 pm.  Join us for dancing at the gym-turned-black light room.  Or come to the cafeteria for other fun activities, such as glow temporary tattoos and crafts.

The PTA will be sponsoring a *FREE* virtual trivia night on May 20th from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm.  Test your knowledge against your peers in this fun, interactive event.  The zoom link will be posted closer to the event. Sunday, March 21st at 7pm the PTA is *VERY* excited to be sponsoring a virtual game night hosted by Mainstages. This is a free event for the families, but we ask that you use one screen per family. Hosted by our tech-savvy, professional hosts, Mainstages’ Family Game Night includes a mix of creative challenges, trivia questions, and active games that will get everyone up and moving around. With a flexible format that is highly customizable to each community and a wide array of games geared to entertain a large age range, there’s sure to be something for everyone! Discover the joy of baking as your kids learn how to make comforting homemade cookies.  Just in time for Valentine’s Day, PTA is excited to host its first online cooking class fundraiser with Cozymeal.

In this fun and interactive baking class, kids will learn how to make their very own cookies. Chef Angela will share two simple and straightforward recipes that kids can prepare while parents assist with the oven. Little bakers will gain confidence in the kitchen and discover how baking cookies can bring just as much pleasure as eating them!

Interested in learning more about Cub Scouting?  Join us for our first event of the season, a socially-distanced night hike at Eleanor C.
